Sept. 27, 1996; Interview #4)
WB: What is the loudest noise or sound you have ever heard in your life?

TRM: The loudest noise I ever heard was a tree branch break off a tree during a thunderstorm! It went....THUD!!!!

WB: How come you don't have Luhey celebrating less traditional holidays like Kwanzaa or Arbor Day or Chanukkah? Will we ever see him celebrating such holidays?

TRM: I probably would have Luhey celebrate lots of holidays besides the commercial ones....possibly sometime next year. I'm not too sure!

WB: What is Luhey's favorite dog treat?

TRM: Luhey's favorite dog treats are regular ones most dogs like. He doesn't go for too many fancy types!

WB: You told me before what you like to eat. What do you like to drink?

TRM: I do drink coffee, but not more than an average amount!

WB: What has been the best day of your life so far?

TRM: The best day of my life was becoming an Uncle for the first time! My oldest brother Gary and his lovely wife Susan had a baby....one day before I graduated "Cartoonerama," over 4 years ago (June, 1992)....I was extremely happy!

WB: What is your favorite book?

TRM: My favorite book is probably the "Cartoonerama" textbook & instruction guide. It helped me start my career and it is remembered as a fascinating book!

WB: What is your single, most expensive possession?

TRM: My most expensive possession is probably my car....a 1995 Saturn, which our family purchased with help from selling our other car which was a 1986 MR2 Toyota!

WB: Have you ever been in love?

TRM: (He leans back on his huge leather couch, fluffs up a French tapestry pillow, puts it behind his large head and closes his eyes after taking a bite out of his ziti egg foo yung) I'm not sure if I've really been in luv! I have what is called, "love." I am still a virgin!!!! It's hard for people to believe that! Especially, in this day of living! I haven't had too many romantic relationships at all. As an adult, I dated a young lady for about a year! But, I was not in love with her at all. We were a little more than friends. But, I haven't dated but just one woman. I can't brag like the other guys. (His eyes grow glassy; Mr. Miller is obviously lost in deep thought, and, perhaps, troubled memories).

WB: Tell me about your childhood; things that you remember…

TRM: Sorry!!!! I don't discuss my childhood hardly at all.

WB: (Oops!!!!) Do you like to watch or play any sports? If so, which ones?

TRM: I was very interested in sports at a recreational level in my teenage and early years. I played basketball, tennis, shuffleboard, pingpong and more!

WB: (He has obviously been ruminating over the question as to whether he has ever been in love and returns to it without any prompting).

TRM: I'm sure as of your last question....I very doubt I've been in love. I probably kissed 250 people during my lifetime....almost all with the mouth closed! Most were my friends!!!! I have hugged several thousand people so far during my lifetime. Most were friendly people I grew up with who were just amiable people. I've even kissed and hugged my dogs, Luhey and Willy. As a teenager, I had just one long french-kiss. I wasn't in love with that person.
